You’ll admit that there is much to celebrate because GOD has been good and faithful (as usual!). We should celebrate our servant hood,and what I'll ask you is to permit me to call it ‘vessel hood’ in CHRIST JESUS.
Do you know that you’re a vessel for good works (Eph. 2:10)? Most times we feel as if GOD’S call, i. e what HE asks us to do in HIS kingdom is an unpleasant task.
At least we don’t think it’s worth celebrating and rejoicing about. We’d much rather prefer a national or international assignment: one that men will recognize and applaud, because we’ve come to discover that GOD’S appointments are spiced with trials, and insults from men, even though well rewarded. We feel harassed when GOD sends us on an errand.
But you see, HIS commandments wouldn’t be burdensome if we sought to love HIM better (1 John 5: 3).
Let us be proud to be ministers/servants of GOD because none else is so worthy of our service and love.
You’re a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a PECULIAR person.
It calls for celebration!
