Sound Mind and Healthy Body

" Beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as they soul prospereth " 3 John 2

The responsibility of proper care for our bodies and soul is a very important part of GOD'S ministry on earth. He expects us to carry out the work of the ministry with a sound mind and healthy body. GOD knows that we cannot do as much when we are down either in illness or sickness.  The propagation of the ministry can only be as effective as the people given the responsibility and sometimes what hinders is poor health due to personal negligence.

The triplicate ministry of our LORD JESUS CHRIST Is deduced from teaching, preaching, and healing. Matthew 4:23 confirms that wherever Christ went he established his mission through miracles which were emblems of the healing power of his doctrine and the influence of the spirit which accomplished it.  We still have to praise GOD for his miraculous healing power in our bodies even when we are cured after taking medicine.  The three general words were also used He healed every sickness or disease none was too bad or too hard, for CHRIST healed with his word psalm 107:20 *He sent forth His word and healed them, he rescued them from their destructions." There are three main diseases that are very destructive to the body and soul, the palsy which is the greatest weakness of the body, lunacy which is the greatest malady of the mind, and possession by the devil, which is the greatest mystery and calamity of both,  yet CHRIST healed all. With him by curing all diseases that affect the body. He showed that his great errand into the world was to cure spiritual maladies.  Sin is the sickness, disease and torment of the soul. CHRIST came to take away our sins to heal the soul which then nurtures the spirit for the sustainance of the body.

"To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one's family;to bring peace  to all, one must first discipline and control one's mind." Brainy quote. 

Have You Been Restored?

"Then said to those Jews which believed on Him, if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed, And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free "" John 8:31-32

Knowing the truth is encompassing, while doing the truth set one free from all entanglement of life and bring restoration in all ramifications. GOD is not a poor GOD. HE is wealthier than we can ever imagine . HE created the world and HE is in control of the universe. As Christians, our expectations to overflow is not a matter of contention but a matter of possession. Prosperity is a product of Restoration:- overflowing in promotion, provision, possession and the likes. Poverty and barrenness(not related to the fruit of womb) are synonyms which has to do with stagnation of life. Please check your present status: Have you been Restored? To enable you enjoy period of overflowing.

Knowing the Power of GOD'S Love

Knowing the power of GOD"S love leads to seeking for it, getting the knowledge and being prepared to do what it takes. GOD is everywhere. HE never leaves us. Our Yes, or No of things don't confirm to absolute. Living in the consciousness of GOD'S plan is like describing colors to someone blind from birth. It might be understood, but the concept to live in it; the glory of GOD will extend HIS domain of insurance and assurance on you.

There is nothing that bothers the devil more than a Christian that delights in GOD'S presence. Having the reality of GOD"S presence is highly dependent on our determination to keep the LORD before us continually. The absolute vthing needed is one to never lose hope which is GOD"S love in every situation. Living in the consciousness if GOD'S presence implies favor, honor and perfect peace of mind and tranquility. "Living in the consciousness of GOD'S presence is all that matters" Maya's Chan.

It is a month of favour.

I must confess that God began to spring surprises on me right from the very beginning of the month.

 I have been swept clean off my feet and counsel you to stand by for your own take off.

  What would you say if someone stopped you on the street and said, "rejoice highly favoured one, the Lord is with you, blessed and you…" Like 1:28.

 You'd probably think of all the challenges before you and wonder just where the blessings are hidden or like Gideon he will ask, "if GOD is with me, then why am I going through so much that I can't explain?"

But if you are a child of GOD then you are highly favoured or hurt already, because it is by grace (unmerited favour) that you have been saved.  It is God's desire to do you good, so stop hanging your head down in self-pity and discouragement. Ephesians 2: 4-6 says that even when we were dead in sin,  God in his mercy raised us up together with Christ.

In  other words, we are chosen for kindness and not for punishment. I Thessalonians 5:9 says that God did not appoint us to pour out His anger on us but to save us and that He will certainly do if we put our trust in him without wavering.

  Beloved, you must believe that God has your best interest at heart. The right hand of God does valiantly, but unbelief can weaken it.  

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and tell yourself every morning when you wake up: "Rejoice, highly favoured one; your Father is on the throne. 

I see you handling your expectations this year in JESUS CHRIST name Amen.🧝

What Is Your Cause?

What your cause? Why were you born?

It occurred to me that if each one of us is able to give the right answer to that mind-blowing  question, we will have to locate ourselves in a place where GOD can make all grace (favor) abound towards us.

The reason we enter prolonged  periods of dryness and frustration is sometimes because we do not know GOD'S purpose for our lives, but refuse to submit to GOD, we can't enjoy His favor. 

The Holy Bible says the way of the dinner is hard. 

But we are  not 'sinners,' you might want to argue; but the way of sinning saints too is hard.

In Isaiah 48:17-18 GOD said, "I am the Lord your GOD, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way you should go. Oh, that you had heeded my commandment ! Then your peace would have been like a river…"

However, you might be right in the centre of your cause but the enemy is doing it's best to snuff you out with lack and frustration. 

Then it is time to hold on to GOD'S word and do the battle against the enemy.

Whatever your position is, remember that the GOD who teaches to profit is your Father, and He is interested in leading you by the way that will bring you profit if only you rely on Him.

The big❓is WHAT IS MY CAUSE?

 Strike the right answer and you strike gold.🤴

HOW TO PUT YOURSELF IN PROPER SPIRITUAL SHAPE❓

Today, the gospel of GOD has come under severe criticism. The godless heathen around us try to ridicule our faith.  But this is a situation not destined to stand the test of time.  The same people who ridiculed our faith will ultimately turn to us for the answer,  because every measure put in place to suppress corruption, greed and social vices have failed. The anti-corruption bill cannot check evil in high and low places of organised societies. So,  sooner or later the world will turn to us (the church) for the solution. They will approach us for the answer.

Jude predicted that only believers who are spiritually in shape can brace up to the occasion.

• How do we put ourselves in proper shape?

•  How do we build up our spiritual life in order to be a beacon of hope to the destitute around us?

 We must cultivate intimate fellowship with the Holy Spirit through investing into our recreated human spirit, the truth of scripture.

 Galatians 6: 7-8 emphasizes that everything we invest into the flesh will not stand the test of time; but everything invested into the spirit man will abound with lasting results. 

We need to build up our  spiritual life by drawing on the resources of God and relying on the strength of the Holy Spirit because we live in a godless society.

We are called upon to arm ourselves for the defence of the gospel💪

I encourage you to begin to invest GOD'S word into your spiritual life; spend quality time in prayer and diligent study of the word of GOD. 

Fellowship with other believers in a sound church, and avail yourself as a tool of witness and service in the hands of GOD.

As you do all of the above, in a consistent basis, you will be thoroughly and adequately prepared to provide relevant answers to a sinning saturated world that desperately needs JESUS CHRIST our Savior 🌞

Starting Over Again - The J.C. Penny Story

JC Penney was synonymous with departmental stores in the very beginning of the 20th century.  Before 1907, he had launched his chain of stores. In 1910,  his first wife who was his inspirer died. In 1913, he Incorporated his chain of stores as J.C Penney company.  In1923,  his second wife whom he  married after the death of the first wife also died, giving birth to his son. After the first world war, the world stock market crashed and J C Penney lost 40 million dollars to that quick crash. He had to sell out all his assets, both current and fixed  to settle his uncompromising creditors.

This left J C Penney virtually broke and back to square one.  Crushed in spirit from his misfortune, his health gradually started to fail. 

One Sunday morning in the Michigan City, J C Penney had the distance singing of a choir in a church service, singing "be not dismayed whatever betide, GOD will take care of you"  Penny followed the music to source and slipped into a back row.

He left the service a changed man. His spirit renewed again, he also gathered enough courage to start his business again.  Towards the late 40s JC Penney stores was in every state, and for the very first time in history of any department store,  J C Penney surpassed 1 billion dollar turnover in a year.

The success J C Penney can be traced to GOD'Smercy in his life to bring him out of his humble circumstances.

 Do you find yourself in humble circumstances?

GOD is the only one who can help me see your position from this viewpoint - a high position.

iI  is a high position because of what GOD is going to teach you in this place.

It does not intend for you to stay out there. It's merely a stopping place to learn some important things you will learn otherwise. Press into God and trust him for the outcome to your circumstance. 

Look To HIM!

The whole world at conferences, seminars, workshops, etc is searching for PEACE. The more they search for it, the more it seems impossible to achieve. A lot of money has been sunk into these workshops, and seminars, yet there's been no meaningful result.

But there's a PRINCE OF PEACE (Isaiah 9:6).For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given and the government shall be upon his shoulder; and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty GOD. The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."

Many of us look for peace where we cannot get it. Many individuals and companies search for peace and still they cannot get it. Only the man of faith can provide peace for us.

Before JESUS left His disciples, He said,"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you" (John 14:27).

As children of GOD we should not be troubled, or panic for any reason because JESUS has already released peace into our lives, and He left it with us. We should always be happy for the peace that reigns in our lives.I

Ifyou have money and wealth without JESUS, there can be no peace. Don't waste your time searching for peace where you can't get it. Desire peace, let your expectation be high, and the Prince of Peace will definitely come into your life.👏

The Holy Bible said "a man crippled from birth". Some people are described just like him. That sister who is single at 30, that brother who borrows money from everybody, that handicapped brother, that sister with one eye etc.  Just as this man was being carried, a lot of us are being carried emotionally, physically, financially, spiritually,  etc. Some people are happy while some are sad.  Unfortunately, for the man,  he was put with his ugly problem beside a beautiful gate. 

Everybody wears a smile and look well but is underneath fine?

Instead of depending on GOD we make excuses for our salvation. If only I went to a better University, I will have had a better job. The man's problem was so critical that he was lame from the womb. People give up on themselves so easily.  Just because of a little setback  they conclude that "I am a failure".

 Watch it,that's the devil's suggestion to reject it . You are not a failure because of that situation. Joseph lived his life in every situation he found himself and he was faithful and diligent, he never thought that God had forgotten him. Eventually, Joseph became a prime minister.

 Whatever situation you find yourself in, it is a school, meant to make you and not to break you. 

In Act 3.3 when the man saw Peter and John, he asked for money,  then Peter said, "silver and gold have I none,  but such as I have give I thee.  In  the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk".

 He got what money could not buy and that same day he became something from nothing and people who never paid attention to him before actually stopped to look at him in amazement. 

 By the reason of the word of GOD.

 People will notice you in Jesus Christ's name, Amen. 

And that man with an ugly problem sitting beside the beautiful gate became more beautiful than the gate.

 Finally, brethren never give up on yourself because your father in heaven has not given up on you,  his words concerning you are true, he will do it in his own time. Don't give up, you have all it takes and you can make it.

 All you need to do is to believe in Jesus Christ and look unto him.

Know Peace!

Do You Love Me?

So when they had eaten breakfast, JESUS saud to Simon Peter, "Simon, son if Jonah, do you love me more than these?'" He said to Him. "Yes, Lord;you know that I love you." He said to him, "Feed my lambs" John 21:15

Love is an essential commodity in our daily lives. It is like oil with which we eat our veggies. Love simply means to have a strong feeling of deep affection for somebody or something, for example, the love of a mother for her baby or more explicitly the love of a husband for his wife.

How do you show GOD you love HIM?

When you were newly born again, you were burning for passion for GOD. I am sure you made some covenants with GOD.

You told Him how much you loved HIM, and how you will serve HIM for the rest of your life.

But when trials came to test your faith, you automatically fell out of love with GOD; confirming that you only loved GOD when you were temptation free, or when things were going smoothly - not knowing that champions are made out of adversities, trials and temptations.

Stop and ponder for a while 🤔

I want you to hear GOD now asking: 

DO YOU LOVE ME?

• If you were physically handicapped would you still love me?

• If you were deaf, would you still listen to my words?

• If you were mute, would you still praise my name?

• If that prayer is not answered or us being delayed, will you still serve in the house of GOD? Or will you still come to church?

• If you still love me, why do you still sin?

• If you love me, why are you ashamed of me?

• If you love me, why do you neglect the poor?

Dear brethren, loving GOD goes beyond these,

Remember that nobody can tell how much you love GOD now, but on the last day, your love for GOD will come to light.

Character - The Vehicle to Your Destination

 

👁️Character is what makes an individual who or what he is.

Character makes a person to have integrity.

Character builds, establishes, and keeps the best of relationships.

With it, you attain greater heights.

With it, Ruth became the great grandmother of JESUS.

With it, Rahab was saved from destruction.

Without it Samson lost his ministry.

Without it Absalom was robbed of his position.

Without it Gehazi lost the privilege of taking over from Elisha

Without it Reuben was cursed.

Without it Hophni and Phineas lost the position of priesthood.

Without it Esau lost his birthright. 

Remember, the anointing will lift you but your character will keep you there.
